NKL-402 Professional Neckloop with Break Away safety feature 3.5mm Stereo plug

Available: In Stock
$54.95 $76.95

The Enersound NKL-402 Neckloop functions as a wireless connection to hearing aids equipped with a "T" coil, also known as T-Switch. Listeners simply connect the loop into their wireless receiver’s headphones output, place the loop around their neck, and the hearing aid receives the sound and amplifies it into the ear.

This neckloop has been designed to work with Enersound units like the R-120 FM Receiver. It is also compatible with any audio device which has headphones output through a 3.5mm true stereo jack (6-16 Ohms) with a minimum output power of 16 mW.

The NKL-402 has a Safety Breakaway Feature. If the neckloop cord gets tangled with a moving object, the breakaway device, under certain circumstances, will disconnect the neckloop from the user, reducing the risk of injury.

Compatibility Note:

  • The NKL-402 works ONLY with Enersound R-120 receivers and any other true stereo receivers with a minimum output power of 16 mW. Not recommended for low audio devices like TV remote controls, Roku remote controls and cel phones and tablets.
  • It is not compatible with mono or pseudo stereo devices from Williams Sound, Listen Tech and Gentner. For these receivers, use the Enersound NKL-101 with mono 3.5 mm plug.
  • The NKL-402 works ONLY with hearing aids equipped with a telephone coil (T-Switch).

Highlights

  • Use with any hearing aid equipped with a "T" coil
  • Use with Enersound R-120 and other true stereo receivers
  • Safety Breakaway Feature to reduce risk of injury

Great idea and a Game Changer

The neck loop is a novel and fantastic idea. Much more comfortable for sound to be transmitted into user’s hearing aids that have t-coil technology versus a head set. However, the pickup of sound by hearing aids is often times not a straight forward recognition. May require consultation with an audiologist, but this is no fault of the neck loop technology as (in my experience) some hearing aid users don’t fully understand how to make their devices switch over. Once the transmission of sound is achieved, however, it’s very comfortable, high quality and becomes a game changer.

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for sharing your experience with the NKL-402 neckloop, Terry. We’re delighted to hear it has been a comfortable and high-quality solution for your hearing aid setup. We also appreciate your helpful insight regarding t-coil activation and hearing aid settings, which can certainly vary by device. Thank you again for your support and feedback!

Game Changer

Congregation member with hearing aids was able to slip the neckloop over his head and plug into the hearing assistance receiver. Then when the service started he simply changed the input on his hearing aids until it matched the frequency of the neckloop. He was able to do this independently instead of requiring the help from others when using the headphones.

Thank you for your thoughtful review of the NKL-402 neckloop, Pastor Staci. We're thrilled to hear that it made such a positive impact for your congregation member. It's great to know the device enabled independent and seamless use with their hearing aids, enhancing both accessibility and dignity during services. We designed the NKL-402 with ease of use and inclusivity in mind, and feedback like yours reassures us that we're making a difference.
