Listening is only half of a lesson. With the included Platinum license in two-way mode, students can ask questions in their own language and the instructor hears them translated back.
The instructor speaks
A wireless clip-on microphone picks up the voice. Enersound Cloud translates it in real time and sends the translation to the R-120 receivers, so students hear the lesson in their language.
A student answers
The second clip-on microphone goes to the students. Snap on the handheld adapter and pass it around the room, so anyone can ask a question in their own language.
Everyone understands
The student's words are automatically translated back to the instructor. Anyone who prefers reading can scan a QR code and follow live multilingual captions on their smartphone.
Working with a human interpreter? Use the included MIC-300 headband microphone. There are no additional interpretation fees when you use your own interpreter.

How does two-way translation work?
The instructor speaks into a wireless clip-on microphone and Enersound Cloud translates the speech in real time to the listeners' receivers. With the Platinum license in two-way mode, students can ask questions in their own language using the second clip-on microphone, and their speech is automatically translated back to the instructor.
How many languages does it support?
More than 50 languages, including Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Hebrew, Swedish and Ukrainian. The platform can interpret into multiple languages at the same time.

How much does the translation service cost to use?
The system includes the Enersound set-up ($250.00 value) and a $50.00 credit. After that, it works on a pay-as-you-go basis. Current recharge rates are $0.16 for speech translation per output language plus captioning and $0.11 for text-only translation per output language. There are no additional fees when you use your own human interpreter.
What do I need to run the system?
A laptop or desktop computer running Windows or macOS, with a stable internet connection, three available USB ports and Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. No software installation is required. The computer is not included.
Can participants read captions on their phones?
Yes. Participants scan a QR code to view real-time multilingual captions on their smartphones, which is ideal for those who prefer reading or are deaf or hard of hearing. Caption access for up to 10 devices is included.
Can I use a human interpreter instead?
Yes. The included MIC-300 headband microphone lets a human interpreter work with the system, and there are no additional interpretation fees when you use your own interpreter.
Can I add more listeners or languages later?
Yes. The system supports an unlimited number of listeners, so you can add R-120 receivers at any time, and you can add T500-CLOUD transmitters to broadcast additional language channels.
What warranty does the system have?
The transmitters and receivers have a limited lifetime warranty, and the included accessories have a one-year warranty. Phone support is readily available.
