The MIC-200 headband microphone is very popular for its high quality, yet affordable price. This microphone is suitable for tour guide systems, language interpretation, classrooms, assistive listening, as well as in conjunction with wireless microphones and other applications. Its unidirectional pattern minimizes background noise by focusing on the voice sound. Some other features include: innovative appearance, light weight, excellent mechanical properties, flexibility, metallic gooseneck arm, abrasion and strength resistance. Each MIC-200 microphone comes with a windscreen. Note: The MIC-200 will not work if connected directly into an audio mixer since it was designed to work in conjunction with body pack wireless transmitters with a phantom power between 1V and 10V DC.Do not connect the MIC-200 headset microphone directly into a mixer with phantom power since it will damage it and may cause injury. The maximum voltage allowed by the MIC-200 is 10VDC. Audio Mixers will usually provide 48V phantom power which exceeds the maximum voltage capacity of the headset.
NOTICE: This microphone cannot be connected to a mixer or an amp directly, it was designed to be used with body-pack transmitters.

I would recommend it and I would by another unit if needed
Great mic with gooseneck arm. No-nonsense, no-frills. Really good sound.
Top marks, works as advertised!
This one exceeded my expectations! I needed a quick replacement for a broken headset (coffee happens, hehe!) and got this one in a hurry because I had a speaking engagement. Not only did I continue to use it, but it's now become my favorite!
I use this mic for business presentations, the sound is good and the whole piece feels comfortable. I used to wear a lapel mic, I decided to change for a headset mic, it works great for those that turn their head left & right a lot.
I think the affordable price and reliability turns this microphone into a suitable tool.I use it with wireless transmitter and it works just fine.
